The Xevion IRC Network is a public, non-moderated chat network. We have a friendly and helpful staff available to answer questions and provide an enjoyable chat experience.
To connect to our network you can point your favorite IRC client (mIRC, IRSSI, etc) to irc.xevion.net on port 6667. You can also use our handy browser based IRC client located at the top right of this page - just click on the CGIIRC link!
Our user help channel is #help, and the general network chat channel is #xevion. There are usually staff members in both locations. Please feel free to pop in and say "Hi".
Please be aware that we do have a few guidelines that need to be followed by all Xevion users. You can find the guidelines at the bottom of this page. By chatting on Xevion you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to abide by our guidelines.

| | | | | | Xevion IRC Network Rules and Guidelines

The Xevion IRC Network is a free, open forum for users to express their
thoughts and ideas to other users on the internet. In keeping with this idea, we
want to keep the IRC experience as free form as possible. Though Xevion IRC
Network is a non-private IRC network, this in no way means that everyone can do
exactly as they wish here.
There are a few rules that we do have in place to cover our legal
liability as well as to provide as trouble free, as possible, a chat environment
for our users.

No Harassment |
Harassment of other users and network staff will NOT be
permitted |

No Flooding |
Any user caught flooding will first be warned and then
be removed from the network. |

No Mass Inviting |
Any user caught doing mass invites will be warned and
then removed from the network |
|
No Nuking, ICMP Flooding or ANY acts that disrupt a
user's network connectivity |
Anyone caught causing connectivity problems or
disconnects to another user will be IMMEDIATELY removed from the network, and
ALL information concerning the attack will be forwarded to the proper
authorities for legal/civil action at their request. |

Illegal Activities |
Since IRC is an international forum, the term "illegal
activities" is a bit vague in it's definition from country to country or state
to state. We are not in the habit of enforcing laws for every country which
should happen to visit Xevion.Net, but, we ARE responsible for enforcing those
laws which are local to where our hardware is hosted. In reality, it comes down
to this: No Child Pornography, Illegal Distribution of Software, or ANY activity
which is illegal in your home country/state. Xevion.Net is NOT responsible for
the content of chat on this network. but will remove offending users/channels if
we find, in our opinion, that they threaten our legal
obligations. |
In keeping with the freeform tradition of IRC, we make no effort to
moderate the channels on Xevion.Net. The contents or discussions of any channel
are solely the responsibility of the channel founder/owner. Any activities
brought to our attention that disrupt the network or are in violation of the
network guidelines will be investigated and appropriate action will be
taken.
Enforcement of the network guidelines is solely at the discression of
the Xevion.Net staff. If you feel you have been treated unfairly by any member
